Fuji bnhg ring sizes, how to measure

Postby rogerlam » Wed Nov 24, 2010 10:23 pm

HI i am about to rebuild a rod previously rung for fixed spool use into a multiplier rod. Using fuji bnhg rings . It is the smaller tip end rings I need but the rings offered for sale (8mm,10mm,12mm) dont make sense to me. It may be that they are measured externally whereas I would prefer the ring bore size. I require bore sizes of approx 8 and 10mm. Which ones should I use. Also I notice that there are old and new versions of these rings on offer but they look the same to me on the shop site. Whats the difference?
anybody have answers!

A good question, manufacturers should be forthcoming with this info but aren't!

Just go for 10mm tip, 2x10mm then 2x12mm, 1x16mm, 1x20mm, 1x25mm, 1x30mm for bnhg's. Works fine for my 80lb leader, but some people like 12mm tip, 4x12mm then the others as listed etc for some reason
